The Seventeenth Meeting of the Executive Committee, accepting in principle the need to consider funding requests related to methyl bromide but emphasising, however, the desirability of such projects being submitted on a regional rather than an individual-country basis, approved three regional methyl bromide data-collection and demonstration workshops. In doing so, the Committee agreed that approval of those projects did not prejudice any other country-specific proposals for methyl bromide projects that may be submitted.
