The Thirty-ninth Meeting of the Executive Committee decided to approve in principle US $700,000 for a terminal phase-out management plan for ODS in Papua New Guinea in accordance with the agreement between the Government of Papua New Guinea and the Executive Committee contained in Annex XII.57 to the present report and on the understanding that the approval was without prejudice to the Montreal Protocol’s mechanism dealing with non compliance.
