The
Seventeenth Meeting of the Executive Committee noted that a number of projects
with cost-effectiveness values above the cost-effectiveness threshold had been
submitted for partial funding of total project costs (e.g. the enterprise only
sought funding for that proportion of the incremental costs that met or
approached the cost-effectiveness threshold) and decided that partial funding
should be allowed and encouraged since it was fully consistent with previous
decisions by the Executive Committee to maximize the effectiveness of the
Fund’s resources in phasing out ODS.
