The
Twenty-fifth Meeting of the Executive Committee decided to request the
Secretariat, in cases where a renewal request for an institutional
strengthening project had been received:
(a) to implement the guidelines for renewal;
(b) to continue to examine what progress had been
made in the implementation of the country’s phase-out programmes; and
(c) to draw to the attention of the Executive
Committee any issues that delayed project implementation so that it could take
an informed decision.
