The
Forty-fifth Meeting of the Executive Committee decided to note that the
Government of Cameroon, with assistance from UNIDO, had completed the
demonstration project on two alternatives to the use of methyl bromide, which
had resulted in the complete phase-out of controlled uses of methyl bromide as
a soil fumigant in the tobacco sector.
